This online course is taught live by a certified FANUC instructor using WebEx and our NEW RoboGuide as a service (RGaaS) product. You can take this training from the comfort of your own home or office while still being able to interact with a virtual robot using our cloud-based RoboGuide product. The class will occur 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
Enrolled students will receive an email with instructions on how to access the course.
Advanced programming is the next step after an Operation and Programming class. Topics from the previous courses will be used in this class to develop a more complex scenario. Students will use a prebuilt work cell that has real CAD data for creating detailed teach pendant programs with the advanced programming techniques illustrated in the manual.
Course Objectives: Students completing this course will be able to:
- Understand Frame manipulation related to programming issues
- Understand advanced program control structures
- Develop programs with a language-independent model
- Perform coding of programs using advanced programming techniques
- Understand Mixed-Logic and Background-Logic
- Set up Multi-tasking operations
- Create Condition Monitors
- Design methods for Error Trapping/Recovery
- The course consists of demonstrations and a series of lab exercises designed to reinforce what the student has learned. In addition to lab exercises, a pre-test, and post-test are used to measure mastery of objectives.
Prerequisites: Completion of a live, FANUC instructor-led Operation and Programming course (such as HandlingTool, ArcTool, SpotTool). Completion of an online eLearn Operation and Programming course will not meet this Operation and Programming prerequisite.
Requirements: A computer connected to the internet and the ability to receive mail delivery of a paper manual.
Recommendations: Two monitors and headphones with a microphone
Students who have attended a class more than two years in the past are required to pass a preparatory test prior to attending the class.
