Course Overview: This online course is taught live by a certified FANUC instructor using WebEx and our NEW RoboGuide as a service (RGaaS) product. You can take this training from the comfort of your own home or office while still being able to interact with a virtual robot using our cloud based RoboGuide product. The class will occur 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST. Enrolled students will receive an email with instructions on how to access the course. The course covers the tasks that an operator, technician, engineer, or programmer needs to set up, record, and/or troubleshoot programs on a FANUC Robot using HandlingTool Software.

Course Objectives: 

Students successfully completing this course will be able to:
-Power up and jog the robot
-Teach Frames
-Recover from common program and robot faults
-Execute production operations
-Create, modify and execute a material handling program
-Create and use position offsets
-Create and execute MACROs
-Monitor, force and simulate input and output signals
-Backup and restore individual programs and files

The course consists of lectures, chapter reviews, demonstrations, and a series of lab exercises designed to reinforce what the student has learned. In addition to lab exercises, a pre-test and a post-test are used to measure mastery of objectives.

Audience: This course is intended for the person who must set up and record a program on a robot with a HandlingTool application software package.

Prerequisites: None

Requirements: A computer connected to the internet and the ability to receive mail delivery of a paper manual.

Recommendations: Two monitors and headphones with a microphone.
